Stages of Building
The timing of every home build varies, so I think it’s helpful to see the extraordinary process, skill, and time required that building any home demands. Here are a few photos of a project of mine in Victory Ranch, Utah.
Laying The Foundation
So it begins! The first step toward everything you’ve always wanted… well, after we’ve met on all your design requests of course.
Framing The Home
It all starts coming together. Once a few walls are framed, it’s always fun to do our first walkthrough of the house and “see” where our designs will live. Exciting!
Affixing The Drywall
After HVAC, plumbing, and electrical are installed, insulation and drywall will make their way onto the stage. From the outside it can be hard to see the progress, but behind the scenes the magic is happening!
Finishing Touches (Before Interior!)
Before we sneak a peek inside, your contractor will make sure your gorgeous exterior is in tip-top shape. Check out this beautiful siding in a Grey Barwood! Now that the Black Metal Roofing is complete, and the exterior elements look like a masterpiece, we can move onto my personal favorite - finishing the interior!
Build & Frame Roofing
Zero degrees and piles of snow can’t stop us! Next your contractors will prepare the roof deck, install the underlayment, roof flashing, and more! In Utah it’s always a a nice breather when the roof gets finished, as it speeds up the process for the rest of the house build. AKA - no snow inside the house!
General Exterior Elements
Once the roofing is complete - and the snow melts! ;) - the exterior materials will be completed. This can include anything from exterior rock, to windows, doors, fascia, soffit chimneys and more!
Back of Home Finished!
Finally, our creation has reached its pinnacle. The rear view of the house is just as stunning as its front, with every detail meticulously crafted. We are now ready to guide you through this exceptional space. The journey to achieve this level of perfection differs for each home, and I trust this offers a glimpse into the thrilling journey that awaits.
Front of Home Finished
At last our masterpiece is complete. A beautiful exterior with an interior to match. Finishing touches are completed everywhere, and it’s time for a walkthrough. The time for each home to get to this stage can really vary, and I hope this gives you an idea of the exciting adventure ahead.
